She has received the Best Outgoing Student Award (Dr. Sathyabama Reddy Anand) in the Department of OBGYN/ Hospital.

She has more than 10 years of experience in the field of OBGYN. She has conducted around 6000 normal and complicated deliveries and she has performed more that6000 C-Sections. She is an expert in dealing and treating High Risk Pregnancies, like elderly, multigravida, multiple pregnancy, medical illness complicating pregnancies, IUGR, Bad Obstetrics History, Recurrent pregnancy loss and many more.

She is an expert in evaluating and treating infertile Couples. She is experienced in IVF (Invitro fertilisation)/ Embryo Transfer. Dr Mahalakshmi can perform all Gynaecological Surgeries like Hysterectomy, Cystectomy, and Myomectomy etc. She can do laparoscopic and Hysteroscopy procedures.
