Dr Mini Mammen Roy is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with over 28 years of experience after post-graduation. After completing MBBS from Goa Medical College which is one of the oldest medical schools in Asia affiliated to Bombay University, she obtained DGO from the College of Physicians and Surgeons, Bombay, MD from Goa University and Associate membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, London, UK. Her experience includes working at Medical colleges in India, tertiary hospitals in Saudi Arabia and Oman She has been working with the Ministry of Health in Oman since the last 19 years. She has attended various courses in Ultrasound, Infertility, Critical care in Obstetrics, Endoscopic surgeries and Masters in Infertility and Reproductive Medicine from Homerton University, UK. Apart from her clinical responsibilities, she is the teaching faculty for the Sultan Qaboos University and Oman Medical Specialty Board. She has organized various workshops for doctors and nurses both at the National and international levels. Various awards and letters of appreciation have come her way for her achievements and efforts for the improvement of the health of the mother and baby. She has actively participated in the activities of the National Association of Cancer awareness in Oman.
